how much is a cheap router or switch?

I'm trying to get something solely to use xbconnect...I'm looking for the cheapest option...the instructions say I can use a router or a switch....How much does shit like that cost?

50 $ + some $ depending on if you have to run a network cable farther than the stock chord reaches.

overall probably under 100$ unless you want to go wireless?
