Is it possible to setup Windoze Xp so that after the machine is turned off or restarted the system automatically deletes any and all .tmp files residing on the local HD?

Get a program called CustomizerXP.. it's free but you have to find it because they upgraded it to a program called TweakNow PowerPack that isn't free :)

Do a google search on how to make a batch file. There's probably one out there that does this very thing already.
Then just drop a shortcut to it in your Startup folder.
