how do you deal with rude motherfuckers in business?

With our mainstream business we depend on a particular supplier.

While an alternative is 'in the making' we need to do business
with this person for at least the month to come.

We make him a fair amount of cash but instead of being (at least) cooperative this motherfucker takes _every fucking opportunity_ to be a pain in the ass and making sure we notice his arrogance.

Telling him to go fuck himself (and he's number one on my shitlist)
would be a premium personal satisfaction but could bring our product-availability in trouble.

During the years ive learned how to ignore personal stuff during
business and deal with attitudes but this is too much.

So is there be a limit? Is there a point where, even if it
negatively effects business, you should just say:
go fuck yourself?

I tend to try to work out every difference possible... and get to the root of the problem before ANY hostilities are had.

If it gets to the point where NOTHING can be done and all resources are exaughsted... a friendly parting is in order.

Until he/she shits on my lawn and/or pisses in my cornflakes.

Can't you just put up with him 9 - 5, or is he monopolizing your personal time too?

DrewKole 09-30-2003 05:52 PM

You be a man, and get over it.

Dildozer 09-30-2003 05:52 PM

Well wait til you can have the backup and then stop buying from him, then when he asks why you'll know what to say

chances are if he treats you badly, he treats his other customers badly.

Assist your new supplier and hit him in his wallet.

I know thats the way to go.

For every fucking order he comes up with new terms and conditions and adds the phrase "if you dont like it, find another supplier" (knowing there isnt any at the moment).

Very hostile, very unconstructive.

but you are right..

OOoof. What a fuckin' prick.

I would make it my lifes mission to either a)find ANY other supplier or b)become a supplier and put his ass out of business.
