Halo on PC
 

Has anyone checked this out yet? I'm curious to know if there's anything new that's been added and if it's worth buying even though I've got the XBox version.

EBgames started shipping their copies today, so tomarrow you should be able to find it in stores. It looks like it's gonna kick ass. I should've pre-ordered mine, but I'm working on Jedi Academy, so I didn't wanna take my attention away from that, ha ha ha.

just sent my wife out to get it, hope they have it at gamestop

is it mulitplayer or single like the xbox....?

i already finished the xbox game but am dying to whoop ass online....

i've been kinda playing it on and off for the last 5 or so days. i have to turn off all of my advanced graphics stuff for hte game to even run. most people were getting around 1 frame per second on it. maybe it was just that leaked copy and the real copy was fixed, but i usually judge games on the leaked copy before i buy and this one is definately ass. also i did not play it on the xbox but a lot of people are saying that there was some functionality taken out of the PC version that makes it not worth playing.

if you have halo for the xbox you can play it online at xbconnect.com as long as you got a router and broadband. you can play any xbox game that allows for lan play with xbconnect.com

Yeah, but Halo on XBox wasn't really setup for online play. I remember connecting thru GameSpy and being able to play 1 on 1. Not my kind of fun.

Actually, if you're looking for the PC version, they won't have it until TOMARROW, sorry to break the bad news to ya. EBgames is shipping theirs today Fed Ex overnight, so people will have it tomarrow.

Halo can play online very well. Ever since I found out about xbconnect me and my girl have been playing at least 3 times a week.

Capture the flag playing 8 vs 8 @ Blood Gultch is awesome. So is team slayer @ Chill Out.

1v1 is boring. Team play is where its at.

BTW, Gamespy sucks ass - The players there arent too nice.
