need a text editor
 

just need a text editor that can edit multi-page in one window like as UltraEdit and can auto save in background

notepad.exe in your windows folder

editpad is nice (I use it). Dunno about autosave though, since I use an older version that doesn't have it.

Is it the autosave feature that is important?

I use editpad and it works pretty well.. Not sure if it does what you need or not
