anyone seen this before?
when i reboot and go into outlook, all my server settings have been changed.
the incoming mail (pop3) is changed to "localhost" the account name is changed to <my real account name>/<pop3 setting> example: ---------------------------------------------- incoming mail (pop3) white.oxeo.com outgoing mail (smtp) white.oxeo.com incoming mail server account name : natas password : ***** ---------------------------------------------- gets changed to ---------> ---------------------------------------------- incoming mail (pop3) localhost outgoing mail (smtp) white.oxeo.com incoming mail server account name : natas/white.oxeo.com password : ***** ---------------------------------------------- never seen this before - what gives anyone? thanks, sure had my goddamn fill of computer problems today :( |

Did you recently install an Anti-Virus ? Maybe..Norton AV ? I know this software does exactly what you described. It changes many settings, which also include re-setting Outlook to localhost. tell me if this helped! cheers |
