Why are people paying on a per minute basis to view porn videos that they can rent at their local videostore for less? I went to a couple of "video on demand" sites and saw that they were charging up to $10US per hour to view videos that are available for rent at most videostores.

Easier to close a window than it is to hide a porn under the matress.

Cuz when you already have your cock in your right hand, standing up and going to the video store to rent a DVD sucks.

Also, porn surfers are rarely members of MENSA.

Did I mentioned that these videos are not hard to find videos nor exclusive videos but just typical porn videos that can be rented at your local videoclub for $3.00 to $6.00 per day (24 hours)!

Don't these sites feel a bit disturbed screwing surfers like that?

I can understand why they pay per minute. It takes 5 minutes for them to jerk off.

AEBN charges surfers 10 cents a minute which works out to $6/hr. I don't see this as a rip off considering it is far more convenient to watch porn online than running down to the shops to rent a video.

Diallers screw surfers... Pay-per-vew providers like AEBN do not.

Some people are too embarrassed to walk into a store. There's that fear of running into someone they know perhaps.

Don't forget that not everyone has a local video store nearby, much less a good store with a wide selection of DVDs. If you are looking for a particular title especially, the convenience online is hard to beat. And there's the whole other factor people mentioned about not having a physical object to hide for married guys.

From my perspective, these products are one of the least rip-offs when it comes to online porn :)

B) If it only takes you a couple of minutes to whack it, then you're probably saving yourself a few bucks.

Cuz you don't have to get your lazy ass outta the chair and go alllllll the way to the store and back, then do it again the next day to return it. Not to mention those rewind fees are a killer :(

coz.. when u want it now, u want it now. not drive somewhere and pickup the latest rocco does cake videos.

They are not screwing the customer, they are upfront with the pricing and the customer decides to buy.

Sure they can join other sites and get 100 times better deal but its all about getting the surfer to buy and if he does you've got a sale doesn't matter if your product is over priced or not they decied to buy it

its anonzmous in the sense that you arent having to go into a store and peruse for porn in front of other people.

ppv and vod are the only kind of porn i would ever see myself purchasing.

The convenience factor is a big deal. Getting porn delivered to you is definatly a draw. But most are still looking for good quality DVD product at the rental store, which is why there seem to be so many of these DVD Mail order-rental outfits popping up.

That's a silly question. That's like asking why do people join a website for 34.95 when they can go buy a video.

Can't tell everyone how great it is to have one of my peeps here. Patrick fits right in with all of us. Love him!
