My tickets to game 1 of the Sox/A's came by Fed Ex today!!!!!

I can't wait, since moving to California I have only been able to see the Sox in person once. Now I get to go to to the playoffs, with great seats no less!!!!!

OMG the Cubs are in the playoffs also.

Here's what would happen....game 7 of the world series, Cubs vs Red Sox, Pedro Martinez vs Mark Prior.....as Pedro winds up to throw the first pitch a giant earthquake of unprecedented magnitude rocks the city and swallows the stadium whole.

No world series champion this year.

I would LOVE to see a Sox/Cubs series!!!
But, alas, there are a whole lot of good teams between them and the series, in both leagues, and the odds that both would make it are slim.
