Video Editing help!!!
 

Want to start editing and encoding my own videos for my website. Have a windows computer with plenty of member and storage. Just need to know the best software and hardware I will need.

There are a ton of choices... Vegas Video is real good and simple (but powerful) for editing. The new Premier looks pretty nice.
Canopus ProCoder is good for encoding (if you can afford it)

I like and use Ulead Video Studio 7

Windows movie maker, free and everything you need to edit porn.
Once you get tired of that,
Go buy yourself a decent capturecard. I suggest Canopus. The card will come with more advanced software for editing.
Don't waste your money on RAM. Video editing is all in the processor.

VideoWave5 is awesome and Cleaner5 to make your videos extra small in size but keeps the quality.

Vegas Video is easier to use, Premier is more powerful. Use the Windows encoder, but watch out - if you use series 9 codec to encode the video some surfers will have trouble watching it and might not stick around to upgrade.
