At approximately 3:30 PM one of our core routers lost both of it's FPC units. The primary FPC and redundant FPC unit. We have not yet determined the cause of this. However what should have happened is this router should have failed over to our secondary core router, however this did not occur and when we attempted to fail we noticed heightened latency and packet loss. We have replaced both cards on our Juniper M20 core routers and fixed the issue with failover to our knowledge. On 09/28/2003 at 12:00AM EST we will iniate an emergency failover to test the backup router's current configuration. This downtime should last no more than 5 minutes in length, and is intended so an issue like this one will NOT happen in the future. Thank you for your time and patience in this matter. We do apologize for the downtime.

good it wont happen in the future just like when you signup for an account and go on the irc chat, and your tech is really rude to your customers and dont setup account for a whole week? and act really clueless?

you know i am so tired of this cat talk. I told you all before there were two cases against me brought to court they lost both of them. The cats are in perfect condition in my custody. I will personally post a picture of the cats with me within 48 hours. Hopefully this will clear up the fact that I am not a cat murderer.
