Everybody wants the stuff you're giving away...mousepad, t-shirts, jacket...etc. For those of us who haven't made it up to the jacket level and those who haven't even made it to the mousepad level, why not open a store on Cafe Press.com and sell the stuff out of there.

For those people who haven't posted 100 times for the t-shirt, who can't refer 5 people to the board for the mousepad, or get 9 signups/month for 3 months, they can just go in the shop and buy the items straight out. ditto.. i ordered from them once and it was really shit quality on the sweatshirt.. and I know that the t-shirts are even worse quality. Unless they changed dramatically I'd never use them. (Overpriced too!)

I heard Hoax doesnt have enough to do, he said he has plenty of free time and would love another project to work on :winkwink:

The idea of a shop is nice, but don't use CafePress for godsakes. Hasn't it been etablished that their merch is crap?

This is a very good idea and could make someone allot of money.

I own a screen printing shop but do not actively push it because I got burnt out a few years ago and now only do large orders or friends. I have consider going back into it full time and have a friend who also works in our shop a few times a week that really wants to go full time but he does not really know how to sell that good. Both of us have over 15 years printing exp. I have over $30,000 in equipment and is set up ready to go :-)

Avg white shirt cost $1...Black cost $2

Shipping could probaly be done for under 70 cents each

This is a market that really needs a leader...if you go look at cafe express or t-shirt hell...the shirts are low quality and high priced...the designs they sell are very very basic...90% of them are just halfway funny saying in one color....just words.

If you look back at some of the design contest...you will see allot of kick ass designs that would go perfect on t-shirts...with kick ass design you would make money...allot of people can print t-shirts the real money is in the designs...right Amp :winkwink:

The right person could get several website to license them to sell there t-shirts...if you had a site and could get several website to sell there stuff...think of the models you guys have 2

List could go on forever...after it is all set up...you would have people coming to you...to get listed.

Other ideas to make money on the site could be have like a adult t-shirt of the month club...anyone that buys a shirt would be in...should be a very high converting e-mail list monthly.

Could hold t-shirt design contest monthly to come up with new shirts.

Could have a spot where designer could submit there designs and if we use them they get a certain $ amount for ever shirts sold...and actually show how many shirts they have sold for there design...if you sold a few 1000 of a certain design....after a while you would have some of the best designers online working for you...on commission only...if there designs dont sell cost you nothing.

If you hit on one shirt designs that everyone has to have...could make you rich...or richer in Lensman case lol....remember the shit happens...or the smiley face with the have a nice day lol...heres my sign...i'm with stupid...hard rocks...list could go here.
