Infomercial says 49% of toothbrushes test positive for fecal bacteria. WTF?
 

Talk about scare tactics to get you to buy their product -- these "Germ Terminator" people want you to believe that little pieces of SHIT get on your toothbrush every time you flush!

I'd like to know more about the study that "proved" this fact, though. Is the real problem that people wipe their asses and then use their toothbrushes? Or was the study done among scat-loving San Francisco faggots?

Either way, I have to give these guys credit for one of the boldest scare tactics I have yet seen on an infomercial -- "THERE'S FECAL BACTERIA ON YOUR TOOTHBRUSH, WHICH CAUSES GUM DISEASE WHICH CAUSES HEART ATTACKS. SO BUY OUR GERM TERMINATOR OR ELSE YOU'LL DIE OF A SHIT-INDUCED HEART ATTACK!!!"

Sorry, but it's true. Aerosolization when you flush throws toilet water all over the place. There was a study several years ago by a hygiene scientist (I forget what he called himself) that talked about all this and had a lot of other amusing and/or disgusting observations. I know it was published at least in part in Reader's Digest.

Even if this were true most people rinse their toothbrush first before using it to soften the bristels. Also the bristels are not made of an absorbent material so whatever shit spray that landed on it will be washed away:321GFY
