We get a shitload of type-ins and Overture shows over 7,000 searches for "New Orleans Hornets" during the NBA season and that's just one search engine. We're top 2 on Yahoo and Google for that keyword -- "New Orleans Hornets" and as you know that's an NBA team -- the New Orleans Hornets.

We registered the domain a good 1 1/2 years before they became the New Orleans Hornets and we've already been told by a respectable law firm that there's no problem with us using it. I just feel like putting a feeler out there to see if anyone wants it...if not, I'll keep redirecting it to our Hornets site.

It would be <b>great</b> for a gambling domain or something else I'm sure you could think of. Now is the right time to get it because the NBA season is just about to get underway.

Hmmm I from New Orleans, I remember reading something about the domain neworleanshornets.com and the NBA. Something is not right. I am pretty sure if the Hornets wanted to take the domain they could anytime they wanted.

The domain is fine. You probably heard about us on TV (local news -- WDSU) or the Times Picayune or maybe New Orleans City Business Magazine. We've been in all of them. If the Hornets wanted the domain they would've taken it already and wouldn't have posted things on our site, have a member of their broadcast crew be affiliated with our site or have their spokesman say "the site is an asset for the Hornets" about NewOrleansHornets.com in New Orleans City Business Magazine. We've talked with a lawyer from Onebane law firm who has advised us that the domain is fine, just like the other ones I posted above.
