DNC list to be revoted by congress and passed for 10/1 still
|
WASHINGTON (CNN) - Votes are expected in the House and Senate Thursday to grant the Federal Trade Commission explicit authority to create a national "do not call" list for telemarketers. The quick action comes a day after a federal judge ruled the FTC overstepped its congressional mandate to create the wildly popular list.

the smart man is going to start a business that calls homes at dinner time, and tells folks for $19.99 he will add their telephone number to the national-do-not-call list.
"Hi, This could be the last telemarketing call you ever get! Want to know how?" |
The DNC list is a sham anyway.
People sign up with the idea that they will eventually *never* recieve junk telephone calls again... But in actually they'll be selling access and authority to telemarket and fundraise to you on a per-company basis. But now, since you'll get less calls, the call you do get will be better recieved (and 'permission' will be more valueable). DNC is going to be like bulk-snailmail. If you have enough money, you can call whoever you want. It's all in the DNC's fine print (hehe.. well maybe not all of that) |
They can fine you for sending unwanted spam... but this is acceptable?
Nothing worse than getting these fucking calls.... I don't want your shit... don't call.... If they are lucky... I just hang up... most of the time i am just an asshole and read these people off... god I would hate to be a telemarketer and get me on the other end of the phone. |
