they do make awesome graphics then again starting at $2500 for a site (they had a $7500 price on it some months ago...) isnt a really competitive price...

Actually like said before what do you compare the design with? With conversions or just for the looks of it?

I know I am not the best designer out here, but I know my clients aren't complaining about the conversions. They pay a lot less then at some other "well known" designers and they get the same maybe better conversions.

To me Conversion is what counts. It's sorta like some sponsor programs who have all this lame java shit and all I want is a simple quick & detailed stats. I dont need pics of naked chicks when I am looking at how much money I earned.

true if you look at their portofolio all you see are big names, big pornstars like jenna, they couldnt care less about $$$ i guess and their sites rock pure eyecandy then again like so many others said are they worth like $5000 as in does a 5k site convert better then a $500...

I actually don't think it matters a lot, it's just what you want to pay for it I guess. Look at the Hun, not realy eye candy but his site still rocks :thumbsup

Sponsors who use seek out lowball designers or plug shitty looking sites aren't worth the time it takes to sign up to their program.

Their ultimate goal isn't to convert to begin with, it's to get people to leave.

When you come across a prog with shitty sites, visit them, then peep their exit consoles... and see who THEY promote... then go sign up there.

true! and the designers that have been talked about here are mostly the "old" guys so they can charge a bit more :) because everybody know them, and they do make some good designs ofcource, otherwise they wouldn't have been here for that long :)

Mike Walker is the best if you've got the money and are willing to wait. The difference in conversions makes pricier designs pay for themselves quite rapidly.

MikeW did the design for Manhunter.com from Silvercash. Compared to what they payed for the content, MikeW was cheap :Graucho And he is the best designer for a quality design around.
