Q; for content guys
how do you tell when a set is old, stale or just overused?
not naming names, but i know a few providers who sell very old stuff, almost 70's looking. now if they can do it, it means most of you can do it too ... but you dont (or do you?) i dont remember who it was, i think maybe hershie ... told me at a certain point you just need to drop the set. how do you judge that? and on another note ... not that i would be buying it, but i bet some people would be willing to pay atleast something for some of these dropped sets. with either resell rights, or just regular usage at a cheap as shit price. :2 cents: |

When you have to post it on GFY it has reached the end of it's shelf life. |
Webmasters know when a set is overused and the content provider will see the affect on sales. Smart webmasters buy the latest sets or should I say webmasters that are making money :thumbsup

Derek from content guys rocks

GrimShawn I couldn't agree with you more :-)
Derek baby you da best |
If it looks old, then its no good
If it looks like shit, then its no good If you seen the same stuff in 1000's of sites, then its no good. If you submit your TGP galleries and it never gets listed, then its no good |
:thumbsup Thanks Grim that was so unexpected!:winkwink:

As a set grows older and more licenses are out on the set providers will usually put the sets in a discount pool and after that in discount bulk packadges.....
There is no reason to ever pull the sets from the sites even if they dont sell as there will always be someone either a newbie or pro looking for JUST that set. |

Do you realy think a production will recover the costs if a pic of a set will be sold on an average of 20 Cents? So, the only way is to sell this set at least 20 times, but before you can do this you have also try to sell it to some magazines and this means that the set will be blocked for several time. I made the experience that there is for every set a customer, so if you do not like it or not satisfied with it, the next awm will take it. There are to many webmasters outsite which are looking for different stuff, so nobody realy can say what the are looking for in special. The last time we have done for example great sales on the 70th stuff, because several people have searched for it. Regarding an overused set - where do you count this? I have no clue how many surfers are outsite there looking for porn. Do you think is a set is on 1000 sites it's overused? Probably this set will convert pretty well for another domain of another country? I do not think that you can name a girl, set or photographer overused or old, if it will fit your needs - perfect. If not, just search for another one. It's enough there. |
We sell 70' better 60' content only. The more overexposed the better. So we always put the most over exposed stuff on first page and make it best seller. If you have anything shooted during a II WW (1939-1945) I would be happy to resell for you
thanks and sorry for spam I think I am gonna have another tullamore dew now |
