ahh.. my neighborhood within blocks from my casa.. glad I live in the South East quadrant of this intersection.. so I rarely ever use it...

Ahhh, I see Louisiana once again finds it's usual place in any comparative national listing -

next to the last.

I live right by the number one most dangerous intersection.

8. Plano, Tex. State Highway 121 and Preston Road 1937

LOL, thats right in front of the huge Plano mom daycare, Stonebriar Mall.

There's one near me that gets 1 accident per week on average.

I don't even go through major intersections with a green light show at speed anymore. I slow down and check no losers are running the red.

Had it happen twice on solid greens and right in front of me approaching the intersection saw a car driven by an old person drive right through the red without even realizing it.

TWICE!! I would have been broadsided and killed in both cases. So now I look both ways.

That would explain it. Women fumbling through shopping bags while on cell phones.

7. Phoenix, Ariz. 19th Avenue and Northern Avenue 1975

Never been to this intersection, but there was another death there a few days ago.

Used to be a listing for US 19 North and Sunset Point Rd in Clearwater, FL.... Right around the corner form my house...

ya its horrible. would be nice to see us not on the list here in AZ. another reason that insurance is so high here. also the deaths, lame.

Theoretically there is less time left to get hit when your speed is higher. Think about that :)

Odd, I just saw a guy knocked off his motorbike by a shitty little Fiat, coming back from Asda about 20 minutes ago...

I think Beltline and Preston road has been in the top ten for at least 20yrs. I lived in Richardson 20 yrs ago. Used beltline to get to work every day for three yrs.

Dallas has great roads. Houston sucks. Major potholes and asshole police.:mad:

I live minutes from the philly intersections.
