260 million porn sites. Around 500 million people world wide log on and look for porn? (estimated that figure not really sure of the amount)

Don't know if they count tgp-galleries as single sites, or how they count those... If they count those as single sites, then it's not that bad a number...

i mean a damn auto gallery submitter makes like 200 duplicated pages a day.

So those numbers don't really mean anything. real pornsites and just a web page are two different things, but unfortunately to the average person they gonna think its some HUGE PROBLEM

They must have counted pic count... no way so many "sites" - maybe pages.

Lets all write long essays whether they mean sites or even pay sites, when it is obvious that they mean pages, and the article actually refers to "pages" ... geeeez

if they include gallery pages as sites then that figure seems low

well, I bet 80% of that number is anything but not paysites.

and while counting they took for consideration any website which could contain nudity. otherwise it could took them a way more resources and time for calculations like this.


and yes, 260 000 000 adult sites is too much for this little world of ours =)

Can you guys read??????? It says "pornographic web PAGES" PAGES PAGES PAGES. That means INDIVIDUAL pages that distinguish themselves from other INDIVIDUAL pages. Like, my content site has about 65 different PAGES. I would suspect a decent Cash Program has thousands upon thousands of PAGES.
