Waste of time unless they're a meaningful acronym or a four letter word. 91 four letter domains expired in the last 24 hours alone, that don't contain numbers or hyphens. They're certainly not rare.

.fi domains were released for public 1st of september. Is there any point in registering 2 or 3 letter .fi's?

I already got a few good .fi's, but the best ones went REALLY fast. over 4000 registrations during the first 10 minutes of sept.1st. :)

just aswell godaddy cant even authorise my credit card anyone ever had a problem like that before? I used it earlier in the day to get another domain

But I got decent finnish names.

figured you needed to be a company when he said public thought maybe beyond public of finland. Can buy Chinese names outside of China but porn is illegal so cant buy anything in this industry.

ok i cant read Finnish but someine gimme run down what is cost of business to set up. I know i need to be from finland to do this but need to know costing and cost of the domain in US approx id find the price myself and convert it if i could navigate site

Corporation costs 8000? to set up. I think you can get a 'personal business' for like 50? or something.
The cost of a domain is 55?/3 years. you can't register it for a shorter, or a longer period of time as of now. You also cannot purchase a domain if you intend to sell it forward, and you have to have functioning nameservers for it before they release it to you. You cannot purchase offending domain names (fuck.fi cannot be registered for example).
