need help with domain trasfers
 
i just tryed to transfer 2 of my domain from an old registrar to godaddy..
i've maked the transaction and was succesfull but when i completed the form never asked me for the password of my old registrar domain or something like this and these 2 domains are not shwoin up in my account of godaddy.com :(

what is the exact procedure to transfer the domains to godaddy.com ?

Mate what sort of domain was it?.com,.net,.bizor what.Also when is it due to expire.These are factors in transferring domains.

1 .net and .com .. will expire after 1month and half

Make sure it doesn't have the Registrar level lock set to ON or it won't transfer.

It also takes a couple days to show up with the new whois record.

Transferring domains is more complex now and the process is very security conscious. I just sold one domain that took over a week of going back forth til it actually transferred and displayed the new owners name.

You might have trouble.
Most registrars wont transfer a domain within 60 days of expiring.You might have to get on the phone or email your registrar

yeah i had heaps with internic years ago had to spend heaps on another year as i only had a few months to go.
