Carribean and high speed access in the room
 

Any know of any carribean resorts with high speed access in the rooms?

do any of the sandlas have this?

specifically looking for a high end all inclusive resort for about 5 days over and around new years.

thoughts?

you wont get high speed in any hotels.

i personally signed up for c&w dialup cause it was like 20 bucks a month with no longterm commitment.

but seriously dude.

if you're going to the caribbean...

close the computer, lay on the beach, relax :)

the net will still be here when you get back :D

you can get net in the caribbean.. just not broadband.

i recommend anguilla. beautiful island, they have cable & wireless as a local dialup isp with decent speeds. crazy enough as it sounds, i recommend the sonesta. it was built by a saudi prince but it's pretty cheap comparatively.

and if you dont care about true beautiful beaches and seclusion check out st. thomas. i can recommend some very nice hotels and you never even have to "officially" leave the usa which is pretty cool :)

You could always buy a 2-way sat dish and get high speed internet that way?

Sandals are trash. Try atlantis, or Bahama Yacht Club nearby.

Best resort I have ever been to, FM has condo there with high speed.

Hawaii is over-rated IMHO.

There is high speed on St Maarten, that I know for sure.

I was in the Bahamas this summer. The Atlantis had a Cable port right in the room. A little pricey though, but not too bad. But the hotel itself is Awessssommmee

SleazyDream, you can't go wrong with a few days at the Atlantis.
You will have High speed Internet in your room, and The Atlantis is very nice, lot's to do, and it's beautiful. It;s a great place to vacation at if you havent been there before... 5 stars in my book. :thumbsup

Atlantis is amazing! I was there 3 months ago, totally stunning!
