Important CMI Process Change

In an effort to meet the new requirements applied by VISA, several CMI system changes will be implemented on Wednesday, September 24, 2003. One of the major changes that will affect clients is a new process for reviewing and approving sub accounts. New sub accounts that contain a URL not previously approved by VISA will go through the following steps:

1. Client enters new sub account via CMI -> Edit Master/Sub Options -> Add New Master/Sub account

2. System detects that new URL in sub account has NOT already been approved by VISA

3. Client will receive CMI message that states URL status is pending approval

4. New request will then go into a VIEW/APPROVE PENDING URLs queue

5. Compliance will then review the URL.

a) If Compliance approves it, the new URL will be sent to VISA for final approval. Once we receive VISA approval, URL status is changed to ?approved?
b) If Visa Declines URL; URL status is changed to DECLINED status and message is put in CMI message application.
c) If Compliance Declines the request, they enter decline reason and message is sent to client and also put in CMI Message Application.

During this entire process, clients will not be able to accept VISA transactions until final approval.

I'm supposed to be the liberal leftist...lol

I don't see a problem with this. You open a new ' business location" and they want to make sure that it meets the criterias we already submitted to.

:2 cents:

Probably best to have their compliance guys look at it before Visa does.
