doesnt make much sence to me. if someone offered me a certain dollar amount for my sig, it would show that the sig will generate more than that in a month and id promote something myself... does no one else realize this?

no, cause a webmaster only gets 5 or 10%, while the owner of the affiliate program gets 40 or 50%

it goes to show every sig space is worth something. Well except the few that have their foot in their mouths.

I've found a few things about buying/selling sigs...

a) it's a great way to make new friends and allies
b) some people genuinely want to help you out either by promoting your program, or by giving you money for your sig
c) promoting your own shit in your sig makes all your posts seem suspect -- "oh you just posted because you're spamming"
d) not everyone has time to post all day
e) different time zones are a major issue
f) threads that you find interesting and threads that you post in may not appeal to the webmaster(s) you are trying to reach... GFY is not really a chat room -- there are little subcultures and people (most likely) unintentionally avoid each other by reading/posting in threads on general topics of personal interest...

You should -- there's cool stuff :) On the other hand -- because of people like you I'm tempted to just post my sig in the BODY of my message... :)

too much clutter and no one really enforces sig rules and too many newbies on crap servers trying to display 80k 120x80s - the board loads much faster without all this junk.hahaha

i like it clean and without all that ;)
