Do you curse politicians while they're talking on TV?
Does everyone do this too?
You're sitting there watching another speech loaded with BS and you start saying "Go Fuck Yourself", "Shut The Fuck Up", etc. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

All the time. I used to throw things at the TV. Broke a remote that way. :1orglaugh Got bad enough that my boyfriend bought me a rubber band gun we keep in a drawer in the coffee table and when we watch the State of the Union I really have to load up with rubber bands. :ak47:
:winkwink: |
Yes.
Doesn't TiVo record which politicians get the worst cussin' and demote them or something . . . |
When I heard King George start this morning I once agian wanted to hide my head in shame. He does not speak for me nor does he speak for many others in this country. Anger would be an understatement.
|
Nope. I usually laugh though. Does that count?

I think GW thinks the United is his to do whatever he wants with it. Sad. I really hoped the Republicans would do a better management job, but they are not. |
I only do it when I'm chatting on GFY :1orglaugh
|
Yes I do it all the time, as the old saying goes. how can you tell when a polititian is Lying ? When he opens his mouth
:321GFY |
|
They dont even have to be on TV for me to curse them, I do it all the time anyway
|
All the time! If I'm in the car alone I scream at them... Its very therapeutic.
I also find myself doing this to TV/Radio preachers if I happen to flip by a church channel... Guess I'm going to hell. |
only when democrats are on, boy do i hate democrats.

(Not the cursing like I have done on GFY - but BS etc) Now he is picking up on the "political rhetoric" and "commercial advertising BS" ... part of a Parents job I believe. ie: Teach their kids that television/internet is not necessarily the truth. |

Liberalism at its best. thank god no one's listening.:1orglaugh |
12clicks do you honestly like Bush? specially being in the adult web business, I can't understand why any adult webmaster in their right mind could support Bush with his current plans on this industry...
btw how come every Bush lover seems to think that anyone aginst him must love Iraq or terrorist |
I throw buckets of feces at my tv.

GW attacks the symptoms for headlines and takes away our civil liberties because he can do it under the pretense of solving the problem. He and his cronies will do what ever it takes to hold on to power until they destroy what little is left of this countries economy and freedoms. If you really think that being in this business is safe in the facist christian world of GW you will have some very unpleasant lessons soon. |
I curse them even when they aren't on television, since I don't watch it anyway. I hate that brain-frying piece of shit.
I can't see a single candidate running for the presidency that's worth a damn. Not a single one of them. I'm voting default Liberatarian. All I can do is hope that one day we'll get a Libertarian in office; America is in dire need of a reality check. |

How was McKinley trying to resolve the underlying conflict in the Spanish-American war? How about U.S. Grant or later Truman in North Korea? LBJ in Viet Nam? Reagan in Lebanon? Bush I in Iraq? Clinton in Kosovo? Each was an attempt to bomb the snot out of some country or occupy it to achieve a political aim. |

But, america really needs to break out of the two party system mold. Its way to hard for any 3rd party to become powerful enough in the current system to do any good. Presidental elections have become not a test of who is the best man, but who is the lesser of two evils. |

Carter started dialogue between Araft and Israel. Clinton help in Northern Ireland, made a deal with North Korea that we did not fully execute and spent proably too much time to paraphase Madeline Albright on the middle east. He acted without the US military in thise areas. When Clinton left office the military hated him for streching them too far in multilateral peacekeeping like the Balkins. Bush has gone far beyond any streching Clinton even forced on the military. |

POTATO POTATO POTATO |
I do more cursing at the media commentators/talking heads about their interpretation of what a politician said.
|
I was just watching the Ontario elections debate on TV: we have a Provincial election coming up. All they do is sling mud around at each other and accuse this person of that and this person of something else and it drives me CRAZY!!! So I shut the fucking TV off and am going to vote for the Green Party, the only ones not in the debate!!!!
|
nope. that's for dumb people
|
Quote:
Glad you mentioned Carter. Carter was the least belligerent US president in the post-World war II period. I really admired what he did at the Camp David meetings. |

To pretend otherwise is to be very naive. |

"different". I thought it would be more obvious but I'll slow it down for you. Read the bolds ... I swear that Bush copied all his rhetoric from Clinton on Iraq. It's like he's parroting Clinton. I wish he'd say something original. |
Bush is a fucking war criminal.
The UN should have detained Bush today to begin trials for crimes against humanity and violating the treaties of the United Nations charter. Iraq was a non threat we all know it. |
Absolutely!
