Clever New Nigerian Money Scam
 

This is a good one.

They send your business a certified bank check for a high priced product you are advertising but above the amount you are asking.

So lets say you're a high end dog breeder selling dogs for $3000.
The Nigerian sends you a check for $4,500.

Then they call you back the next day and say they made a mistake on the check amount and demand you wire back the difference right away.

The original check turns out to be a fake and you've been clipped for $1500.

Amazingly, quite a lot of people are falling for this one.

I get about 10 emails to my accounts each day from this scam.

Iits just a total pain in the ass to sit here and make rules on outlook for each of the knuckleheads that emails this out each day.

they dont give up

find a way to scam them back

because people consider it clever.

most of it isnt coming from africa. more eastern block and orient i believe.
