anyone ever go to Italy before?
i hear it is very nice. and that the people and business' actually just enjoy their life, and not worry about how to make the next $buck$
sounds very enjoyable. how do they stay so skinny if they eat pasta all the time? |
They have a lot of sex :thumbsup
|
Northern Italy was a BLAST!
I would love a house in Bibione ;) :thumbsup :thumbsup although where I stayed in Pordenone was very nice as well... |
Its a good place.
Expensive. Very hard to find a spot to park your car (mine was towed once for parking in the restricted area - which is almost everywhere) Rome is beautifull. Food is awesome - esp pizza. |
Italy is a great place. You should check it out some time :thumbsup

Benito doesn't like homos.

Visited for a month for a cousins wedding. Toured the whole country. Recommend Venezia (Venice) and Firenze (Florence) then Roma (Rome), skip Napoli (Naples) unless your major destination is the Isle of Capri or the ruins of Pompeii. Best cappucino and proscuitto I've ever had was in Italy. :thumbsup :thumbsup

Italy is fantastic but I prefer Spain.
I will be going back to see them both at the end of 2004. |

in fact, I can't think of anywhere in Europe that I would ever want to go back to. France sucks ass. Had enough of Germany to last me. England is too weird. hmmm..... maybe Denmark. Denmark was nice.

yeah.... near to Barcelona. I spelled it wrong though. It's LLoret de Mar, Costa Brava, Spain
|
Marbella is all the way in the south, in between Malaga and Gibraltar. It's about one hour drive to Gibraltar from here
Now, Gibraltar, that is a filthy little place.... http://www.elisesworld.co.uk/europe/maps/sp-map.gif |
LLoret de Mar:
http://www.ampiezza.com/stuff/lloret.jpg http://www.ampiezza.com/stuff/lloret2.jpg it's actually a tourism destination... not a bad place in all, but I still found it to be much like I envision Mexico to be. I stayed in the nicest hotel in town, and it was still not as nice as most Motel 6's. Lot's of people hustlin' you for one thing or another on the streets... everybody's tryin' to sell ya something. But again, it was nice for a trip. I just don't think I would go back. Not at this time anyway. Maybe later in life. |
then again, it's been 16 years since I was there.... and my memory isn't exactly razor sharp.
|
Venice, Roma are great! :winkwink:

hahaha! i second that. i did a complete tour of europe for over a month. Rome was fucked to drive in. bastards. i thought Moscow was bad. Rome was the worst city i have ever driven in. |
Florence is probably the most romantic city in the world. Make sure to spend some quality time after dark with a good bottle of wine, listening to the sounds of the streets with a loved one beside you. Doesn't get much better than in Florence. The Amalfi coast is also incredible, albeit a bit crowded in the summer.
