another portfolio update went up today, and i recently freshened up the ol' site a bit (admittedly it was like pulling teeth).

heh... yeah, thanks for pointing that out. it's actually supposed to be there, for modularity. that way the client can put in whatever content they like, and change it up easily whenever they want. instead of putting in a placeholder graphic, i just leave it blank.
