The IPods arrive today and I need help..
used a few reward points for a couple of IPods for the boys. The next question coming is going to be "Where to download music files from?" (waiting for the feds to show up at my door)..
Any suggestions? |

Just disable uploads and they won't get you. The way they do it is they search for songs, download them off you and get your IP. |
you can also rip all your existing cds...
|
You can also do it the legal way, and make mp3s from cds you already own.

Ahh, I've always wondered why kazaalite.com hasn't worked in months... |

Primarily I don't want to deal with having to delete adware off my laptop cause the boys have no idea what to look out for. |

Find a good and reliable Usenet feed. I recommend Easynews.com. People post thousands of entire albums to the Usenet every day.

a friend of a friend of a friend told me that WINMX is pretty good.
|
I used Napster until it closed. It was the best music sharing site ever known to mankind. I am now downloading the new David Bowie CD on WinMX 3.3. It is not nearly as fast as my beloved Napster, but it's not bad. I can find all the new artists and a lot of the older music. I use Audiograbber to copy my CD's on to my computer. FUCK RIAA!:321GFY

AllofMp3.com has lots of great albums. You have to pay like $ 1 for each album .. and it's legal ... at least in russia :)
