Do you invest your porn money?
Got some cash in the bank now and I'm wondering if this is a good time to invest. I do like the idea of no one being able to take my money away from me, but maybe it's stupid not to invest.

invest it all, it's all good
|
Its always good to invest as long as your investing in the right thing.

Good stuff, I always wanted to start a fund like that if I had a load of cash and a good marketing campaign. That guy has Joe Namath, so its easy for him to fill up seminars. Its also a good investment too, but you have to hold the units for one year minimum. They invest in short term real estate loans secrued by real estate on deeds of trust. Its not like a REIT where they just invest in real estate specifically, but instead on loans. I'm not spamming, I have no affilliation with them at all. I just always thought it was a good thing. |
just invest
|
Real estate is always a good investment, but do some research first, read a couple of books and you should be all set.
|
investments are always good just buy a shitload of Crappy tgp traffic and send it to your crappy TGP Pages :thumbsup

This is something I've always been curious about but never jumped into... one wrong move could be very costly

Invest your money in offline porn business :glugglug
|
invest , collect...
invest more, collect more... buy a car... and have money left that you can still invest invest, collect ................... buy a house ... without hurting your bank account which invests repeat invest and collect... if you can do all of that you all set for life =) |
I invest about 40% of my yearly earnings into IRA, mutual funds.... it is a lot better than letting it sit in the bank.

Do not pay taxes or invest. Works for tgp guys!

depends on what your goals are. investing is a very loose term.
you could invest in your porn biz by buying traffic, more sites, improved members areas, etc but you gotta know what you're doing! or you could invest in the stock market which isn't a bad investment atm since it seems the bear market is finally over (but the next 10 years certainly don't look like the late 90's). expect a lot of ups and downs and i'd be investing money you don't want to touch till retirement if i were you. that way you're pretty much guaranteed to double your investments a few times. you should also plan on adding money regularly to your retirement plan. you can try to get in and out of the market if you have a couple of good small companies who's stock might double this year. (if you do let me know) i did well with yahoo this past year doing that. real estate is a good investment but the markets are kinda high right now, you might want to really think about where you want to go, cuz once interest rates go up, the market will slow down quite a bit. if you want to go this route, i recommend finding a bunch of houses you're interested in, that you think will increase in value over the next 10 years. and offering 20% less than what they ask to be safe. someone might bite. that'll give you a nice tax break every year too. might invest in your education as well, i've found my business degree to be quite worth the 50k investment.... |

I believe the opposite, don't diversify, concentrate. Enumerate your investments according to rate of return and probability of that return being realized and invest 100% in the one with the highest weighted risk-adjusted return...

right now i'm only investing in me.

Invest in Oceania's real estate. Something like a Cook isllands resort/spa. Or even buy whole island or few ones and build an airdrome there. Like it is on Bora-Bora (French Polynesia - Tahiti). It's very profitable and can pay for itself less than in year with good management, advertisement and maintenance.
Or buy whole ~3-hectare island with ready-built airdrome and turn-key kiwi-fruit plant with all communications in less than 10 kms from New Zeland for less than $4 millions. Or, if you have a bit tighter budget, a small island in the French Polynesia (or anywhere else - there are more than 8000+ islands in Oceania around new Zeland, so it would be hard to choose one) with 7 air-conditioned bungalos with all communications, etc for 8-12 families could be sold in range of 0.8-2.7 millions depending on position, situation and some options like sewerage systems, personnel, a distance to the nearest airdrome, etc etc. At least you can install a gas/diesel electro station to be 100% independent (and it's a way more cheaper than any similar wind station, not mentioning the solar one). The only things is that there's no any good internet communications there as far as people go there not for having internet you know =) If I had so much, I would do it first. In case you would have no tourists there, it's possible to use it for living :thumbsup But it's quite another business, so no wonder why somebody may sell their spa's/resorts ;) There's another territory, another war like enywhere else. To buy a motor yact could be a good option as well. Rent a crew, and buy something from SunSeeker family starting at $2.3 Millions for 2-4 guest cabins (for 2-8 families 2+1-2 each) and make good rows/sails with your business partners before/while/for signing a contract or make VIP cruises for special price. Or, buy a small SunSeeker, not sure I remember the name correctly - predator most likely, which has a good performance (min 35 knots), small enough, but is luxury-designed well to make short meetings/sails for 1-2 guest families... Aimut55 is like 0.9-1.2 mils and a way smaller.. but boats is quite another theme at all =) To buy a gothic castle in europe and redevelop it into an hotel could be a good option as well as many others, but it cost too much, really. But I was really surprised that it's hard to find a vacant hotel room is a real problem especially in big cities. And UK taxes are as high as the US ones and even greater. Spain, Italy is good for living in, not just for having rest or keeping a hotel.. Poland estate is a way cheap, but I wouldn't go there. Just seek it out, there are so many pretty things to invest money at. Especially when it gives you a good ROI =) Good expencive real estate will be payed for itself no earlier than 2-3 years as lawyers may tell you (in case if there would be no any wars in your region, etc). For example, open a car-washing station with a cafe' (approx $10-80k prices may vary depending on Country), put there a filling/service station or whatever. Or open a mcDonalds' subsidiary in the country where there's no any. Online Casino probably could be a good investment, but it's all filled already. Hosting provider could be a good option, but it's quite a bothersome/troublesome biz where you need thousands clients you would get few bucks from each monthly. And competition is strong, but could be beaten using a bucks pack. Invest in Yourself, for example. I bet you haven't finished no any like Oxford business schools at least on a bachelor degree. Me neither =) That could be a really big deal to know something good to tell your children about. Maybe I'm flying too high in the clouds, but I really would work as hard as I can to afford these options in a piece of heaven to die with/for in peace. Have fun =) I'm always open for discussions of any kind: Email: [email protected] MSN: [email protected] ICQ: 166487010 |
