Price, security, customer service, some let you hide your whois info I think too.

I started registering all mine with register.com before I realized how badly I was getting ripped off on the price. Now I have to transfer them all.

I'll second that...... superb interface, url forwarding is perfect and they reg em fast.

Plus you dont need any CC's with namecheap - you can just deposit cash onto your account with Paypal and buy domains with that.
