2257 particular...
Hey guys...from the Cornell Law 2257 text:
"Whoever produces any book, magazine, periodical, film, videotape, or other matter which - (1) contains one or more visual depictions made after November 1, 1990 of actual sexually explicit conduct; and (2) is produced in whole or in part with materials which have been mailed or shipped in interstate or foreign commerce, or is shipped or transported or is intended for shipment or transportation in interstate or foreign commerce..." blah blah blah... Here's my question: is the internet something that's "mailed or shipped" or "shipped or transported or is intended for shipment or transportation" -- or can be construed as such? Yea, I searched GFY, so no flames please...this is a serious question. And no, it doesn't mean I'm skirting my 2257 responsibilities.... Thanks Crew! |
