I'd do it as long as I was legally covered. But you'd have to be prepared to not spend any time with your son. I know a guy that did it, he was gay and he helped out a lesbian couple. But something changes biologically when you father a child (at least outside of trailor parks it does), you feel the innate need to protect it. So as you get older unless you have kids of your own that might lower this need of connection you may find yourself wanting more of a relationship with your son than you will be allowed.
