We've been spending about 8 hours with some lame admin, trying to prove that an email was double opted-in to our system.

It's absurd because we have to prove they were double optin and and email and IP address arent enough proof for them. When the idiot even has their picture on our site.

How they get away with making sites violate their Privacy Policy to provide them info I dont know.

This might be the good angle against them to get a lawyer on.. Privacy Policy.

To be hounest, i think there days are counted and i will throw a big party when they leave the scene. More and more webmasters / firms are onto them. It seems to me they use the adult industry to make name and make profit. I know we have alot of spammers giving us a bad name but they are just doing crazy stuff right now....... spamcop will be taken out if they continue like this :2 cents:

haha yeah, but what we are doing is 100% legit and they treat us like criminals and expect us to violate our Privacy Policy to provide them more information than email address and IP, hell even that violates the standard Pirvacy Policy.

i think they've just about pushed their luck too far, im sure they'll settle down when they start gettin popped

No thats the point we don't have the time to fuck with them, but its that or be blocked or change our ip etc. But we aren't in the wrong so we''ll fight :-) They have us unblocked at least, but still ike to pester.

They're all a bunch of kids that never got picked on a team to play 4 square. So they're angry at the world trying to find something to have over someone.

yah spamcop should go under... everyone should unite and spam all garbage emails with return adress of spamcop, then they will feel how its like to deal with ISP's...

Spamcop is great they send you complaints and they dont even send you the email address of the complainer

spamcop is one of the best i think.. they are nothing compared to spews or rokso .. maybe if it's the first time mailing your list you might get alot of spam cops.. after that spamcop has tracking where they will track how many people have checked your mail ip to see if it's in bl.spamcop.net if you got something like 1:100 ratio you ip won't get listed.. stop crying

Spam Cop is a bunch of babbling morons who have no other motive than
money and harassment. We have loads of legit mailers on our network
who do not spam. They actually do opt-in only emails (verified by our staff)
and get spam cop complainers.

So we offer to our clients who get dedicated servers with us a program I wrote which enables you to track the complainers nicely so you can remove them.
Were doing all we can to make sure legit companies can run their business
like a business.
