Barzini writes about how the Italians made wonderfully decorated armors in the Middelage. Then, when they had to go to war, the Italians went to Germany and bought their armors there. Why? Because the Italian armors were fragile and would break easily.

Yes - it is Irving's site. His books are free downloads. I'm currently reading his book about the bombing of Dresden.

I am glad to hear you are reading about the devastation caused in the beautiful town of Dresden during WWII - an act which is often not recognised as being of any importance.

I used to have a video documentary which explained what happened in Dresden, but unfortunately the old link to it no longer works. I will try to find it for you though, as it was quite good.

I will be sure to check out some of his books to, from what I hear he is a good writer. Thanks for the link!
