Brazil has it bad sides, but at least we don't have volcanos, hurricanes and eathquakes. Thank God.

People are the same everywhere though. Even with a storm heading their way, no one ever thinks they'll be the one to get whalloped.

you would think that, but that is not the case... people want to be as close to the beach as possible.. and then they are in shock when a storm comes though and rips em a new asshole.. my house is 5 blocks off the ocean just for this reason

Ignorant! Tragic disasters happen all over the world!! So God hates all the countrieS? What about the floods that recently happened in Germany, Czech and sorrounding areas? Earthquakes in South America, all over the world? Guess God hates them too huh?

Of course its not amusing, give me a link and i`ll donate to the cause of reconstruction right now - but we can all laugh about it in good nature and simultaenously hope that not too many people were hurt. I can assure you, no matter what happened to me in such a storm, if I survived i`d laugh about it soon after.

Anyone hear from Tom and how he faired up there? Folks I know up in Md. on Chesapeake, are still without power, and lost their docks and piers, roofs and lots of trees down.

Im in maryland and just got my power back today.. The storm sucked, It wasnt even THAT bad, but the wind gusts did a number.. I have about 4 large trees down in my yard, one hit the corner of my house and broke the drain (not too bad though).. will cost about 2,500 to have the trees removed..
