Upgrades to all of the DarkSideHosting.com servers are now proceeding. The upgrade will bring our version of the control panel Ensim to Ensim Pro. You will gain new tools such as 1 touch installs of <a href="http://www.oscommerce.com" target="_blank">OsCommerce</a>, <a href="http://www.phpnuke.org" target="_blank">PhpNuke</a>, and others. Glad I am not the only one that saw "System down" and thought of system of a down

probably not, but I am probably the oldest person that saw that and thought of them.

Ensim Pro Upgrade Complete.

Please note, many softwares have been upgraded including apache, PERL
and PHP
You may experience sudden issues with your sites, please note
that PERL is now 5.6.1 and php is now 4.3.3 and suggest they check for
differances in how the two may interact with their code in relation to
new methods, functions and options added/subtracted for security
reasons..

MySQL DB's may now only be added/created from the SiteAdmin level
MySQL DB's now also count against the sites Quota for space.

SiteAdmins of the same name will cause sites to error upon saving
example
site1.com user admin
site2.com user admin

this will cause errors, you can have the siteadmin the same but have to
change the sites MySQL Admin username to something different, then save
the site. else the site will stay in an inconsistant state..

We have also noticed some settings such as Register_Globals may be
different from what you previously had in /etc/php.ini

Also SUEXEC is much more agressive in the latest Ensim Pro edition.

Please check Ensim.com for technical refferance and how to guides in
relation to differances with the updated CP..

Switching to a host just because they have a quick install of phpNuke probably isn't the smartest thing to do. Besides...phpNuke is buggy, unsecure garbage...Postnuke it what you want :winkwink:
