Do you have to go?

Or how can you get out of it? A friend of mine got subpoenaed but he doesn't have the money to go to San Francisco where it is.

Then ring the court clerk thats n the subpoenae and tell him that..

If they really need him they will have to fly him down.

Well at least thats how it works in Australia.

Cant see why it would be any different over there.

They have to pay for him to fly there or he does not need to go, but he must phone the courts and explain, he should not ignore the sopena.
