I am going to go see it. Kate Beckensale is very hot, The special effects look decent, and the story seems somewhat interesting.

On an unrelated topic. Why do guys/girls at guerilla traffic have to spam webmasters? You think we are going to join when you send us 15 different emails to addresses that have been harvested and out of use for 3 years?

You guys spammed me 15 times from old email address that have never been submitted to anywhere. They were on really old websites of mine and were harvested by you. This in itself is enough to cause alarm for anyone to send you traffic if this is how you run your business.

So I don't care if this was 'discussed', you shouldn't be trying to sell your wares on this messageboard when your group is a known spammer.

whatever... watch the trailers for "the rundown" and "underworld" & please tell me which one of these action movies looks more like a matrix ripoff.

Just got back from the movie. Out of 10, I'd give it a 6.5 to 7. Not the best movie, but definitely worth watching.

For the lawsuit, I don't think it's going to hold much water. Whitewolf has the storytelling system, however, I didn't see much in the movie that was comparable to the WW system at all.

Style-wise, this movie was similar to Matrix, in that Matrix had somewhat of a greenish tint to the whole movie, and was pretty dark and pale in color, while this one had a similar style but more of a blue tint.

OUATIM was alright... johnny depp seriously carried that whole movie. don't go expecting to see salma at all even though she got a top billing in the credits. she has four very short scenes, one of which is a repeat. plot makes no sense in some parts but if anything it's an excuse to ridiculously blow things up with a automatic rifle. i give it a 5 out of 10 weighing heavily on johnny depps performance. he makes you fucking laugh.

Got my tickets preordered for 11PM tonight. Saw Once Upon A Time In Mexico last night, Johnny Depp really was the best part of the movie, and the ending portion with Depp was great. Not too fond of the rest of it, certainly a much more complicated plot which looked like it was being a bit too busy at times, and the Mariachi didnt seem like a central character anymore, but Depp kicked ass as usual. They should just csat him in every movie to automatically boost its rating. :BangBang: :thumbsup

Yeah I saw it today too...I would probablt give it a 7 out of 10 aswell. It's more like The Matrix meets Interview with the Vampire. It was a decent movie, definitely worth seeing.

On a side note...they showed the trailer to Gothika...now that movie looks really good.

I heard from some friends that Kazaa has lots of files on it that just play a blank screen, like the riaa put a bunch of bs files in there that just take up space.

Pure crap..Don't waste your money

Just got home from seeing it...was very matrix like...and the soundtrack could have been a little better..but all in all i thought it wa a pretty good movie!

You will miss out alot. This movie took some cinematography lessons from Matrix and The Crow and came back with a serious contender, at the same time it is unique and fresh. Story is great, acting is good, action is almost non-stop heartpounding , easily one of the best vampire movies I have ever seen. Music rocks and this movie is great in the theatre, even if you have to fight with your neighbor for the armrest. Do not hesitate. Go see it. It's worth it.

However I fear you are right, my instincts are telling me it's going to suck and try to cash in on matrix/blade popularity.
