This shits hallarious, they closed schools from VA to NJ, states of emergency called in PA, Deleware, & about to be called in Jersey.

Its just a little wind people! So don't go fishing & if you live on the coast go get a hotel 30 miles inland.

When Honduras was hit and 12000 killed a few years back the press.. on average had a three column story on the back page.
Ironic TV channels are now covering this 24/7.

Hell.. they ain't got a clue till they have sat on a balcony with some drinks in the eye of a hurricane! Sheesh.. tis peaceful! :winkwink:

Me & a buddy were drunk & body boarding in virginia beach when bertha was sitting off the coast, the cops told us to come in or be arrested, we told them to come out in the water & get us :)

They looked at each other & then drove away on their atv's

I agree we're going a bit overboard up here. But I was down south (Kissimmee, Florida) about 2 years ago to visit friends and check out DisneyWorld., and the temp went down to like 60 or somethin one night. I was fine with it, but you'd swear the second ice age was approaching the way everyone was putting on sweatshirts and jackets and complaining about the "cold"... LOL.

Then it was like 90 again the following day. I guess southern folk aren't used to drastic temp changes. It was like the top story on the news the following day. That and someone drowning outside the Grand Floridian.

Yeah, every location has things it's mastered, and things that break it's back.
