This hurricane is a monster! Rite now it is hitting Kills Devil, NC. winds are getting stronger and the surf is getting higher. Local areas have started flooding. This one is gonna take my house down with alot of others. Anyone that believes in GOD, all prayers are appreciated. I Will keep you guys updated.

You've got them prayers! This storm hasn't hit full force yet and it's already closed down everything for almost 800 miles n and s.

It may not be the winds that are the most dangerous but watch that RAIN. It's packing more water than the scientists who flew into it over the past week have ever seen before. Keep an eye out for tornadoes too.

I was going to post an update thread since I have millions of relatives in the effected areas and am worried.

An update post in real time from people from the area is wellll appreciated!

Yes, windwise, but RAIN wise, it's a monster. Plus there's the threat of spin-off tornadoes.

Flooding is what kills most people during hurricanes and this storm is packing a wallop.

This hurricane has exhibited unusual and record breaking properties. Don't count it out yet and don't take chances.
