just in case you're wondering, it was some guy from montreal who had an auction up for a brand new, unused windows xp folder, and another auction for a new shortcut to the c: drive

the bids were at like $35K when i saw it this afternoon. the auction was in it's final hours.

35k? those people who bid are fucked... i remember some kid bidding on something as a joke for like a million and his parents got sued and lost.

the auction was a joke and so were the bids...

Or the auction was for something illegal and the people bidding happened to know what it was because they'd been told.
