Any1 ever try domain backordering?
 

If so, from where? How did it go?

I have been monitoring a domain now for several months.... its now in redemption period... I came across this site:

and am curious if any1 here has used it or a similair service.

If the name you want is likely to be wanted by others you are best to backorder with either pool.com or namewinner.com.
These are the best at the moment.Snapnames are useless at the moment.

becomes operational on october 27th and is the way to go then but as the domain you want is already in redemption theres a good chance it will drop before then.

it belongs to VERISIGN. Personally i wont use anything closely related with this fucking co.

im gonna start using pool also..

i got lucky once with godaddy backorder, but ive been beat 3 times now for a domain, and they all change to NS.POOL.COM afterwards.. go figure =P

if i order from pool and someone else has done so also for the same domain, it will tell me right?

triple6, im not sure but id like to know too.. my guess is it will be whoever bids more, or first come first serve.. maybe KRL knows?
