Looks like a lot of interest in this niche. They just were showing it on the Maury Povich show. Guys shooting the content with coin sized video cams facing upright in between their sneaker's shoe laces. Then they stand next to women in elavators, on stairs, shopping lines, etc. to get the upskirt "money" shots and the women don't have a clue they're being videotaped..

Talk about cheap content. What's this industry coming too?

Yeh I know, but these mini shoe cams are virtually undetectable. That's the point of it.

THis is actually very old news to anyone who was in the voyeur niche back in the early days. Upskirt was floating around the net way before the webcam explosion, or "hidden video" in hotel rooms, etc. It was usually acquired by some guy with a video cam stuffed in a duffle bag, with the zipper open just enough for the lens to peek out, and they would walk around shopping malls, etc., putting the bag down next to a girl in a skirt to get the "money" shot. Some used wireless pinhole cameras on their shoes, that transmitted the signal to the parking lot, where they had a VCR set up on battery.

There used to be a whole underground dedicated to this stuff, and the guys doing it often times didn't even ask for cash, but rather traded with others for new content. But I think most of the guys eventually got caught or arrested.

Well I guess its coming back cause they're pushing these mini shoe cams on the Net.

It's funny, but I can remember when this shit was still "underground" and not staged, if they weren't trading for it, some guys would sell the tapes for upwards of $250 for 20 min (or less) of footage on the newsgroups. Of course it was far more rare back then too I suppose.

Lots of people get arrested for this , There was a case in Toronto not that long ago for this very thing.I guess they get too aggressive putting their shoe where it dont belong, and then they get caught:1orglaugh

Hundreds have been arrested for it. Usually it's been for disorderly conduct but recently the "Video Voyeur" laws are being written to include it (which makes it felony) along with hidden bathroom/bedroom cams. I guess one could say that stealing a peek is no longer petty larceny. :)

One guy actually was killed because of it. He was chased out of a shopping mall by security after a complaint from a lady that he had been stalking her through the store. He jumped into his car, sped out of the parking lot and lost control of his vehicle when he turned down the street. Wrapped his car around a tree.

All for a forbidden glimpse of candy wrapper...

Upskirts have been around since the internet started KRL. upskirt.com was lucky to be one of the first sites to be ridiculed on TV. Don't you remember?

BTW, before you start shooting, It's illegal now, using a hidden camera to shoot up a womans skirt goes beyond "reasonable expectation of privacy".

Now if you shot her without a hidden camera while she was sitting on some stairs, that's different.

These cams are so small you can't even see them. What they were saying is the quality has improved as as the ability to get really long duration shots.

Like you could be in a nightclub and totally go to town filming with this wireless cam in your shoe laces and the signal is sent wireless on 2.4 ghz to the video recording machine outside in your car.
