Nope. My UPS guys is a millionaire. 500k can come pretty quickly and it is not like you get more service just for it showing up.

If you don't know real estate or have someone you can trust who does. Diversified fund with stocks and bonds. Boring as hell and safe. Then when ship comes in you will still have 500k to get a ticket.

If you have 500K liquid, why would you be asking around here for investment advice? That's what my financial advisors are paid to do. I have stocks, houses, retirement accounts, all over the board. I definitely wouldn't ask in here if you're looking for a serious answer.:2 cents:
