I mean, certainly you can buy expensive clothes, but in some way, you pay less attention to your clothes if you're rich, isn't it true... ?

That's true.
But some rich ppl pay definitely less attention to such things.
If you get an average salary, you may have low self esteem and f.e you spend a huge part of it on clothes, to impress women, act like you were rich etc.

If you finally get rich, then you have higher self esteem, since you are already rich and don't care about sush unimportant things...

4 years later - still not really rich but i can confirm it

ive bought some nice clothes in past 2 years but i never wear them anyway

unless i go on a date or on an important meeting, i dont fucking care how i look anymore

same for haircut btw

there used to be some places where i wouldnt go dressed poorly, because either some friends could see me, or... well, because i thought these places require wearing better clothes

now i dont fucking care, i make more money than most of those idiots who are better dressed anyway, and who cares if they can see it or not

Those who don't have money actually are those who best dressed coz according to them, though they don't have money at least they dressed well and at that people wont recognized that they have no money.

So logically, the reverse will be rich people pay less attention to how they dressed because they're rich anyway! But still, even they don't dressed well, you could always recognized rich people from not. I don't know, i have this instinct to that.

The truth is that the person either has taste or not...

Cause even if you're poor with good taste - you'll dress neat and your clothes will match each other... And if you're rich with taste - your clothes will be just more expensive, but still will match...

But if you don't have taste - it doesn't matter whether you have money or not. You'll still look ridiculous...

The exception may be for the people, who are rich, have taste, but don't really care what other people think about them :upsidedow

Most wealthy guys I know dress better then when they didn't have as much money... but there are couple exceptions who really don't give a shit.

dressing nice has nothing to do with money, you cannot buy style, just because you have gucci does not mean you look good in it.

style is about making yourself look original + trendy + classy.

Well, rich folks buy expensive ass clothes that are usually ugly as fuck. The only people digging them besides themselves are those crazy ass broads and gays who are into fashion. I know for a fact that if I was rich I would be rocking board shorts, flipflops and sleevless shirts everywhere I went....because I could.
