Exactly... so why would you elect another "UNQUALIFIED" person for office? Maybe he can fuck up california like bush fucked up the rest of the country.

Don't get me wrong... I love his movies... but he is an actor... not a politician...

I can see it now... Arnold... "I can't get to that right now... I am on the set of my new movie, tell them I will help them when I have time".

Ronald Regan... another actor that thought he could be a politician... look at the great job he did... <--sarcasim

conan 09-15-2003 09:10 AM

current governor is a professional politician, he fucked it up, didn't he. So, why not to give Arnold a chance, is there any better alternative, some other nice talking, smooth walking politician?......what do I know...:glugglug

Andy 09-15-2003 09:22 AM

Please explain how he fucked up. I mean literally did things himself that fucked up the state. Show facts and no guessing it was him just because he had the title Govenor on his desk.

It doesn't matter for a while more anyway. In response to an injunction filed by the ACLU, the 9th circuit court has delayed the election until all voting machines are updated. In the injunction, the court cited a study submitted by the ACLU that "showed" that punch-card ballots could not be easily understood by poor and minority voters and were therefore unfair!

I love the fact that liberals accuse conservatives of being racist! All conservatives care about is the ability to take care of yourself and your family, and make money. Seems like the liberals treat all minorities like little children that need the liberals to take care of them and therefore keep voting them back into office.

This is just classic! Every time California voters want something, the ACLU and the judges come in and say "screw you! We don't care what you voted for, even in overwhelming numbers. We are just going to do whatever we want." This is one of the reasons that I left Cali.....aren't you California voters getting tired of having your votes overturned by judges yet?

baddog 09-15-2003 12:12 PM

you have not seen the ballot for this election, it confuses even me

Quite true, but do you realize that three times in the last 10 years, the 9th circuit and the ACLU has overturned referendum votes in the state of California? A couple of them had been voted in by more that 75% of the voters, and were STILL overturned! This has not happened in any other state. I'm just pointing out that a constitutional procedure in the CA election process has been interferred with YET AGAIN, by those two organizations. Don't you have a problem with that?

Sly_RJ 09-15-2003 01:54 PM

Guy wins an election. Three months later somebody decides they don't like the results, so they want to do another election? Is this what happened?

I wasn't following...

well, since the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is not an organization, yes.

And just because a law is passed does not make it Constitutional or correct.

The recall is just a bad idea. So destructive.

I wish Arnold could run during a real election so we could deal with that car wreck seperately.

I have no idea of Arnold could be a good politician. But it blows my mind that he is running the most generic "I'm a challenging politician" commercials I've ever seen. "It's time to send a message to the politicians...GAME OVER."
If you are running as a fresh voice, then be one.

the guy just learned to speak English a few years ago, and we are supposed to think that he can read and interpret legalese? Fucking insane I tell you.

If Davis is recalled our bond rating will be set so low we will need coal miners to dig to find it.

more like guy reports a 8billion debt weeks before election, then moves to 9billion just before the election and then up to 38billion 1week after. he knew where it was and fucked us blind. he ruined the state and it will be a long time before it recovers. his idea to fix the state is add more taxes. it'd just be a matter of time til he noticed the money coming in from the taxes and turned the spending machine back on full blast. you can see what type of person he is, giving illegals licenses for votes... nothing more. drivers licenses from other countries are honored here and they can get insurance, so his basis is false. hes a scumsucker and needs to be put in jail. :2 cents:

Actually, it's pretty smart, FOR THE DEMOCRATS. The more illegal immigrants that have drivers licenses, the more likely they will commit fraud and vote democratic in the elections.
