Work needed

Hi,

I am looking for work in the adult industry. Before I will say what
I like and what I can, I would like to tell why.

Basically said, I love this industry :D
I like the way people communicate with each other, how business is done and how innovation is used. I am actually working on a new site myself (sort of review site), and later on if things go well I will start expanding that.

But for now I need a job. This can be any kind of job, but since I live in the Netherlands a job where I can work from my own home is the only option.

Maybe you have a support job available (webmaster support, visitor support etc.), or a job as gallery reviewer or something like that. The benefit for you of me working in a different time-zone (I believe the difference is like 6-8 hours, depending on where you live), is that you can offer 24hour support when you include me in the schedule. When your US-based staff goes home, I will pick it up.
But that's just one option.
I am also willing to do the more "automated" work, like gallery reviewing or approving/declining gallery submissions. We can always discuss what work you got, and what I can do.

I have worked in the Netherlands for a year on a customer service project. This was business-to-business, and was a very prestigious project. Beside this support job I also did sales, and heck, I even worked at McDonalds as a crew-trainer (training and managing new and existing personell)
My commucation skills are excellent (received lots of training), and my English reading and writing skills are better than average.
I have a firm knowledge of the adult industry, been reading a lot, tried some programs and even made nice money :D
Besides of what I know, I also learn fast :)

So I hope someone has a job available for me. If there are any Dutch companies around here we can also discuss and in-house job (depends of availability of public transport).
Main benefit for me is that when you hire me, I can setup my own business here, booking the wage you pay me here as revenue, meaning I can start for myself too. This would really be great and gives me great flexibility in working hours. Although this is not your "problem" (:D), it is a main benefit for me since it also gives me the independence I am looking for in the Netherlands.

If you would like to contact me for questions or job offerings, here is my full name and contact info:

Name: Jacco Blankenspoor
Mail: [email protected]
ICQ: 292007828

We can discuss the payment, this can be per task or per hour/day/month (depends on the job), but again also in this I am very flexible.

Thank you for your time, and I looking forward to your reactions!

Jacco

Here is a bump for ya

menlovesex 09-15-2003 04:23 AM

Thanks!

I think I posted this a little bit to early since I expect half of the US is still sleeping?

You see, that's why I come in handy, I am all awake :D

menlovesex 09-15-2003 06:14 AM

By the way, forgot to mention:

Don't know excactly how the US tax law is, but for what I know I will be less expensive to you than I US employee since I will be taking care of the taxes myself, and I don't live in the US.

Besides that, even though I was living in the US, I am still not expensive since I am young, and don't need much money. As long as I can enjoy my job, which is more important to me than making the biggest buck!

Here goes another bump for the night (or day with you guys :D)

Nice post!

But why don't you try to work for yourself?
Make small TGP site, find good sponsors, get a free trade script (just to begin) and start. Here you can find all that you need to start. :2 cents:

we pay our own taxes in the us also

menlovesex 09-15-2003 10:53 AM

Hi,

Thank you for your nice comments! By the way, didn't know that about US tax, thank you for noticing!

Point is, I am starting with my own sites, in fact I am currently putting my ideas on papers for building a new site (won't build this myself), which should be done within 2 weeks.

I am also thinking of a good AVS concept, and I will put that to work this week.

Only all these things cost money . I am currently out of a job, and although I got some nice savings, I am still used to spending on a "higher" level. When it comes to making a site I don't want to be a cheapass, and for my new site I am looking into buying visitors, newsletter ads and email leads.
Besides that I will also use a outsourced mailing system for my site etc. All costs money :( The problem is that I started my ideas when I did have a job, and when I have a job I think less economical than now, since I want to make my site a success and that costs money. I think it is a shame to let my ideas go to waste because of money.
Therefore I am now looking for a job. If this turns out to nothing, than I will be searching for a job in my own region. But I rather gain experience and knowledge by having a job in the same industry where I hope to make my living off once.

I don't want to sound sad or something like that, I know I can have a job in my region in a week as a sales guy, but I think it is better for my and my future employer to first search a job in a business that really enjoys.

I am also not looking for some high paying job, a regular salary would do, since I hope to make most off my money in the long-term off my sites, and but accepting a lower paid job I can gain knowledge and experience and that is way more valuable than some quick bucks.

So I am still hoping for someone having a nice job for me :helpme

I already accepted something on commission to do in my spare time, but a steady job is still preferred, also because that means I can register myself as being a company here, meaning I can work more efficient and totally independent (at least in the Netherlands :)) being my own boss. Working from home for one of you guys is just way more efficient for me, giving me time to work on my own company and starting a High School (don't know if that is the equivalent of what I am attending here) study in Law (another dream of me, I got the oppurtunity to start this study totally unexpected, but for me it is a dream coming true...)

Anyway, thank you guys for the compliments and the help! I hope I will be posting my new site here next week looking for trading links!

Jacco

P.s. Sorry for the long posts, it is just that I type what is in my head and when I scroll back when I am finished it turned out a bit longer that I thought :D

menlovesex 09-15-2003 10:59 AM

By the way, did I already mentioned I am very creative when it comes to thinking of new ideas?
And that I can write really long stories :winkwink: ?

menlovesex 09-15-2003 11:53 AM

So, I will give this a last bump :D
I am off to my girlfriend, hoping to see a job offer when I log in tomorrow ;)

Thank you all guys, this board is great!!

You can review galleries for Choker for something like $10-15 an hour.

menlovesex 09-16-2003 03:46 AM

Yeah, I already tried that. Maye I will go on, but I am not sure if it is for longer term too (choker, thanks for the oppurtunity though!) Besides that, dealing with customers/webmasters is just nicer :D
