What font size do surfers use on average?
 

i need some stats on this. im not sure how big to make my text links...

if ur on IE click View---> text size... and tell me ur setting

and if any of u have some stats as to which one is the default for surfers and which one is the majority. please post it up here.

I do not allow surfers to dictate text size.


CSS is a beautiful thing.

I generally do stuff for 800x600 so just keep checking at that rez and see what's readable? It's hard to say.

Yea gotta use the CSS nothing looks worse than a site with the text all blown outta the tables and overlapping because they don't have the font sizes locked down.
