I don't know but with SMS how do you control age then? ..maybe you can't..like dialers. ??

no you cant control age but they aggree by sending the sms terms on the site.. they then get billed with new un/pw on a set cycle by being charged for receiving that sms untill they cancel

very good idea for alternate billing but the only suppliers ive found so far all seem to have set billing cycles and costs which i dont really want

IMO sms billings could be used as real alternative for visa/mc in nearest future.

sms billing is only domestic solution soo far.

I try using SMS Payment on UK traffic (because one man offer to me try it service). I get ratio 1:8000....In my opinion it is no good...and stop using it.

Why did you suspect that? is there any psychological / technical barrier for the customer in using this?

Some facts you may not be aware of on SMS Billing:

1. Payment cycles from 3-9months...yes thats right SMS generated in month 1 wont be paid for as long as 9 months

2. Chargebacks. or as we like to call them non-collectables, can be up to 65% of your total revenue.

3. EU E-money directive may at any time in the next 3 months make it illegal for mobile operators to offer this solution, as they will require a banking licence.

4. Reveue share to webmaster is only 30% of the end user price.

5. Maximum charge is £1.50 / Eur2 per day, if anymore you're breaking the mobile operators code of practice.

Get SMART, leave SMS well alone, stick with what works:

Credit/Debit cards. Dialers.
