Johnny Cash transcended all music genres...
He was one of the old school country guys I listened to along with Waylon and Willie, Kris Kristopherson, Eddie Rabbit, Johnny Lee Horton, Marty Robbins, Roy Clark (probably the most talented muscian on the planet), Hank Snow, etc.
You should give some of these other guys a listen...they aren't as great as Johnny, but they'll give you a new look at old music and songwriting... |
